Performance Feel

Performance Glass fins are known for their stiff, responsive flex, delivering immediate acceleration when you drive through a turn.

Because they sit at the higher end of the stiffness scale, these fins provide a highly dependable feel when waves become more powerful or critical.

The Reactor template’s upright shape allows surfers to perform tight, acute directional changes, making them perfect for fast beach break surfing where speed and quick reactions are essential.

A quick flex memory ensures the fin rebounds instantly, helping generate speed and maintain momentum between manoeuvres.

“PG fins just feel solid underfoot. There's something about this material, which is simply fibreglass and resin, that produces a very smooth and reliable flex when the waves are powerful, and you want to push hard through a turn. PG fins can transform the feel of your board in a positive way.”
— George Pittar

Fin Template: Reactor

Built for speed, tight turns, and explosive snaps.

The reactor template features an upright outline with a smaller centre of area, allowing the board to pivot quickly and release cleanly off the top.

This makes it the ideal fin for surfers who favour fast surfing, sharp turns, and progressive manoeuvres.

Ideal Conditions: Beach Break

Performs particularly well in:
- Hollow waves
- Fast, punchy beach breaks
- More critical surf conditions
Board Compatibility
- Designed to fit the FCS II Fin System.
- Recommended for performance shortboards with moderate to low rocker.
Performance Glass (PG)

For decades, solid fibreglass fins have been the preferred construction for many of the world’s best surfers.

Performance Glass fins are CNC machine-cut from layered sheets of fibreglass and resin, producing highly accurate foils that are then hand-finished for precision and performance.

This construction creates a stiff, dependable flex pattern that maintains its integrity even under immense pressure, making PG fins ideal for powerful surfing.

The result is a fin that delivers instant response, strong drive, and exceptional control when you push your board to its limits.
