    • The Channel Islands Solution PC Quad Rear Set is designed by Britt Merrick and is based off the popular CI Upright template, built to pair seamlessly with the upright CI side fins. This rear set delivers a fast, responsive quad setup with a focus on speed, control, and tight, pivot-driven turns.

      Featuring a neutral-raked template and refined 80/20 foil, these fins provide a balanced feel underfoot—offering stability and hold through critical sections while still allowing for quick release and direction changes. Developed in collaboration with Channel Islands Surfboards, the Solution Quad Rears excel in punchy, hollow waves where speed and responsiveness are essential.

      Constructed in Performance Core material, these fins are lightweight with a progressive flex pattern, helping maintain drive through turns while offering versatility across a wide range of conditions.

      Performance Feel

      The Channel Islands Solution Quad Rears feel fast, controlled, and highly responsive.

      The upright-inspired template allows for quick transitions and tight, pivot-style turns, while the 80/20 foil keeps the board stable and predictable through critical manoeuvres. When paired with CI Solution side fins, this rear set enhances overall drive and hold without sacrificing release.

      The result is a lively, high-performance quad setup that blends speed, control, and responsiveness—perfect for surfers looking to unlock performance in punchy, hollow conditions.


       

      Fin Template: Carver

      Built for speed, control, and tight directional surfing.

      This template is derived from the CI Upright design, featuring a more vertical outline and neutral rake to promote fast direction changes and pivot surfing, while maintaining enough hold for powerful turns.



      Ideal Conditions: Point Break

      Performs particularly well in:

      • Open-face waves
      • Down-the-line point breaks
      • Long, carving turns on clean walls


      Board Compatibility

      • Designed to fit the FCS II Fin System.
      • Recommended for CI Performance Boards, particularly the CI Solution 



       

    • Performance Core

      Performance Core (PC) fins are made using a multi-layered resin transfer moulding process. The flex pattern in PC fins extends progressively from the base through to the tip, helping the surfer to maintain drive and hold through a turn. This versatile fin material is light and can be used in a variety of different conditions.
