But pro surfers never stop obsessing over their equipment. Fast track to 2026 and the Champ has a new signature line with FCS: Fins, Pad, and Leash.
Having tried and tested multiple templates through the title campaign, we landed on the Carver, but with a twist. Like AM, Medina and a few others, there was something about the smaller centre fin that works for him. So, for the first edition of Yago’s signature fin we went for the regular Carver side fins, but dropped down a size for the centre fin. We’re offering it in multiple sizes in Performance Core (PC) for a broad variety of conditions, and Performance Glass (PG) for the crew that want to take it to the limit.
Introducing the new Yago Dora grip. The first of its kind, built for larger feet. An additional 5mm was added to each side panel to fit his size 11 foot, then designed to give a modern and angular look.
The kick features a dual-angle backstop which starts at 45° and then goes vertical. Chamfers on the kick edges minimise any water resistance, a coffin arch bar, tilted square groove, and finally, some perforations on the side panels create an extra bit of sensitivity.
The Yago Dora leash is a standard Essential leash, but it is anything but standard, especially when it features the Yago logo in a colour that works with the fin and pad.
Features include Double swivels, an in-cuff silicone grip to minimise slipping around the ankle, Hypalon pull-tab for ease of release, extra-strength moulded velcro, and a contoured horn that conforms to the shape of your ankle.
