ABOUT
Erin Brooks was born in Texas, tried surfing for the first time at nine, and moved to Oahu's North Shore chasing bigger waves and better competition. She competes under the Canadian flag, and by 17 she'd already won a Championship Tour event as a wildcard, beating Caity Simmers, Molly Picklum, and Olympic silver medalist Tatiana Weston-Webb to take the 2024 Fiji Pro. A few months later, she closed out the year by winning the Pipe Masters, becoming the youngest surfer ever to do it.
She earned her spot on the full Championship Tour for 2025 and made the most of it, becoming the only women's rookie to survive the mid-season cut and finishing her debut season ranked eighth in the world. That form carried her to 2025 Rookie of the Year honors at just 18. Erin's still writing the early chapters of her career, but a Fiji Pro win, a Pipe Masters title, and a Rookie of the Year award before turning 19 says everything about where it's headed.
