Mason Ho grew up in Sunset Beach on Oahu's North Shore, born into one of Hawaii's most storied surf families. His father Michael Ho and uncle Derek Ho helped define Pipeline in the 1980s and 90s, and his sister Coco built her own career on the Women's Tour. Mason took a different path. Instead of chasing rankings, he built a name riding rock-infested slabs, forgotten novelty waves, and anything else nobody thought was surfable, and made it look easy every time.

His travels have taken him to the best waves on the planet and plenty nobody had ridden before, and he's documented all of it. That output has made his edits some of the most watched in the sport. Mason's entertaining, spontaneous approach to wave riding, and the way he lives the surfing lifestyle on and off the board, is exactly what brought him to FCS. He's doing some of the most creative surfing on the planet right now, and that's a partnership that makes sense on every level.

The new Mason Ho signature fin is a mashup of different templates. We took influences from Kelly Slater's original K-3 and Mick Fanning's signature templates, then reworked the flex, foil, and tip profile based on extensive testing and feedback from Mason himself.
